PrideI have pride for those that are my friends and loved ones.
Regardless of whatever flaws I may find (and that's one thing that I always can't help but notice), my happiness, my approval and the strongest pride I feel is when one of those that I love dearly decides to show their true colours in the face of something that's confronting them.
We're not super heroes. We're not gods. We're not mutants (although I still think men are)... But there's something that's cool and pure about a person that strives in the face of opposition, in a trial of morals -- in a situation where we get to show who we are when in conflict.
This journal entry was inspired by one person today. But I wanted to let everyone know that I feel this way towards them atleast once, and that's why I consider them good people, and people that I want as my friends.
I can feel the good inside of you.

I can also feel the evil in you and I'm likewise proud of this too. (That one's a joke, but sometimes...)

Decent... We have a legion of generals. This one is controllable. I showed them x-rays of a jelly-bean sized object in their skull. Told 'em it was a bomb set to blow at the slightest misconduct. (It really is a jelly-bean, but they believe it...)
